Brompton P Mk2 and P line e-Motiq Front Axle Hook

This front hook as used on P Line Mk2 and P line electric Mk2 Brompton bikes with carbon forks, the front axle bolts into this hook to secure it 

When your Brompton bike is folded, this hook hooks the front fork to the rear frame to stop it unfolding when you pick it up. (in combination with the seatpost being in the down position)

This is one of the "essential" Brompton spare parts - without this your Brompton won't stay folded properly

It works in conjunction with the stopping block (when the seat post is not in the down position the fold is not locked and picking up the bike will cause it to unfold)

Used on P line Mk2 and P line Mk2 e-motiq model Brompton folding bikes, with the carbon forks 

The Brompton bicycles this is compatible with is as follows:

• P Line (Mk2) Brompton Bicycles with 4 and 12 gears with carbon forks
• P Line electric (Mk2 e-Motiq) Brompton bicycles with 4 gears with carbon forks 

This hook is not compatible with the following Brompton bicycles:

• P line manual and electric version 1 with titanium forks
• C line manual and electric version 
• A line manual 
• T Line manual and electric version
• G Line manual and electric version 

Tools required: 5mm allen key / hex key

To install insert the front axle and hold the hook in place, the axle thread through the hook
