DOT 5.1 Brake and Clutch Fluid

This is for workshop use! It is DOT 5.1, which is a fully synthetic brake oil, please check the brakes and make sure you are using the correct oil: 

  • Shimano brakes use Mineral oil (NOT this!!!)
  • SRAM brakes use DOT 5.1 fluid
  • Hope brakes use DOT 5.1 fluid

Latex gloves and safety glasses should be worn when performing the bleeding procedure
