Park Tool SBS-1.3 socket set
This socket set is for use with Park Tool Torque Wrenches, the SBS-1.2’s 3/8 inch drive bits and sockets are made from tough, chrome vanadium steel for long life
Socket set features:
- 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8mm hex bits
- Long reach 5, 6 and 10mm hex bits (5 and 6mm were new for the 1.2 set and 10mm is new for the 1.3 set)
- T25, T30 and T40 Torx style bits
- 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15mm and 1 inch sockets (in the 1.2 set the 11mm and 12mm sockets which were in the original SBS-1 set are no longer included)
- The 1 inch socket fits various Park Tool Freewheel, Cassette Lockring, and Bottom Bracket tools
- All sockets and bits are 3/8 inchdrive
What's changed between 1.2 and 1.3 version?
The 10mm Allen key / hex bit in the 1.2 version was short reach
The 10mm Allen key in the 1.3 version is long reach - this makes it better to reach deeply recessed bolts such as some crank arms or suspension pivots
