Brompton front axle hook
OK - so you want to save weight / just drop the front mudguard for the summer?
The problem is that without a mudguard, there will be no hook to keep the front wheel securely against the frame when folded, as the hook is part of the mudguard stay
That is where this alternative hook comes in - it's used on E-type Bromptons (Bromptons without a mudguard)
Note: E type is a Brompton with no mudguards fitted (although specifically the front mudguard for this part)
Bromptons that this compatible with are as follows:
- C line Brompton bicycles with no mudguards
- A line / B75 Brompton bicycles that come with no mudguards
- P line Version 1 Brompton bicycles with no mudguards (with titanium forks)
This axle hook is not compatible with the following:
- P line Version 2 Brompton bicycles with carbon forks
- T line Brompton bicycles
- G line Brompton bicycles
The hook doesn't come with wheel nuts / washers - you will need to use your existing ones
