Brompton Integrated Bell - Brass
New in 2023, the louder (we think!) Brompton bell for letting pedestrians know you are there
OK - so in the UK a bell is required to be on a brand new bicycle when sold
But it is not actually required by law on a bicycle
Bear in mind though, that if you take your Brompton abroad (including Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man) then a bell is a legal requirement
It can also be useful to help reduce the shock to others sharing your trail as you approach
Note: the bell is fitted to the right hand brake lever as standard
Although the instructions say it can be fitted to the left hand lever - it can’t!
