Brompton size 16 inch Presta valve inner tube
Update: As from 2022 this is the inner tube used on the (most) P Line (Performance Line) range of Brompton folding bikes and will fit the T Line if you don't want to stay with the Tubolito inner tubes
If you have a Brompton A Line, C Line or Pre-2022 Brompton, you should use an AV4 inner tube (that one has a car type / Schrader valve) or will need a Schrader to Presta adapter to allow this to work with your rim
This inner tube fits ETRTO tyre sizes as shown below:
- 37-340 - 16 x 1 3/8" and 400 x 35A
- 28-349 - 16 x 1 1/8"
- 35-349 - 16 x 1.35 inches (as used on most Brompton folding bikes)
- 37-349 - 16 x 1 3/8"
- 28-355 - 18 x 1 1/8"
- 35-355 - 18 x 1.35"
This inner tube is also used on some wheelchairs.

Why choose this inner tube?
Because not all inner tubes are the same.
Schwalbe test all tubes (twice), including inflation for 24 hours to ensure they don't lose air pressure
Less lost air means less time inflating and more time for you, whether it's riding, in bed before work or at the office
This is the same size inner tube as the Brompton one, but with a presta/racing type valve.
With a valve hole convertor it is possible to use this tube on a Brompton with Schrader valve rims
