Many of the components can be changed before collection delivery - some at no cost and some for an extra charge - for example

No cost specification changes:

• Gearing (e.g. change from 50T to 44T front chain ring for easier climbing) and reducing the chain length
• Change from standard to extended length seatpost for taller riders
• Change saddle from 147mm width to wider 167mm saddle

Will add cost (though we won't charge labour for making the change):

• Add advanced rear roller rack
• Change from standard to telescopic seatpost
• Change tyres to a different model (e.g. Continental Contact Urban to Marathon Plus)

1. Frame

Lightweight:
Steel Main frame and stem
Carbon forks

Folded size: 585mm wide x 565mm tall by 270mm deep

2. Colour

• Main frame: Choice of colours
• Handlebar stem: Black
• Forks / rear triangle: Black
• Decal: Depending upon frame colour
• Detailing: Black

3. Handlebars

Choice of three styles

• Low rise / straight bars (previously known as the S type) - for a more sporty ride
• Mid rise / classic Brompton style bars (previously known as the M type)
• High rise for a more upright riding position (previously known as the H type)

4. Gears / drivechain

Gears:

• 12 speeds in total combining the 4 speed advance Brompton derailleur system with a 3 speed hub gear system
• Integrated 4-speed gear shifter on left side of bars - black - for derailleur
• Integrated 3-speed gear shifter on right side of bars - black - for hub gears

Drivechain:

• 50T front chainring - black
• Removable left hand pedal - black (stows in the back of the front fork)
• Non-removable right hand pedal - black
• 106 link Brompton advance chain with connecting link
• Derailleur chain tensioner
• 4 rear rear sprockets (11T / 13T / 15T / 18T)

5. Front luggage system

The P line comes with the front carrier block fitted so you can easily add Brompton luggage to make transporting your stuff easier without affecting the ride 

6. Mudguards / Rack

This bike comes with black advance mudguards
No rack / roller frame is included - though an advance roller rack can be retro-fitted / added at an extra cost

7. Roller wheels

New advance roller wheels help keep the bike stable when folded 

8. Wheels / Tyres

Classic 16 inch (ETRTO 349) Brompton size wheels with double wall rim 

Black Hub / rim (the braking surface is still silver) with black spokes

• 28 spokes  on the rear
• 20 spokes on the front

Continental Contact Urban tyres - black / reflective
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 

Presta / racing type valve with6mm diameter

9. Saddle

Brompton superlight saddle with the fixing point for the Cateye or Brompton Be Seen rear light

Note: If you prefer the wider (slightly heavier) 167mm saddle - just let us know and we can swap for no extra charge

The Brompton saddle is attached to the seat post using an adjustable Brompton Pentaclip - black

10. Seatpost / Seat height

Standard seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement of up to 33 inches - colour: black

Note: If you are a taller rider - up to 35 inch inside leg - then an extended length seatpost can be fitted at no extra cost at time of ordering - just let us know

For very tall riders a telescopic seatpost is available at extra cost 

Saddle height insert is included - we recommend you fit that after riding the bike for a while

11. Suspension

Along with the new advance rear triangle introduced on the P Line came a new advance suspension block

12. Lighting / reflectors

Front and rear reflectors are included

It's easy to retrofit battery lighting (at an extra cost) such as

• Brompton Spanning solo rear light
• Brompton CatEye 500lm front light
• Brompton Be Seen light set
