Brompton 3 speed rear wheel - BSR (Brompton Standard Ratio)

This wheel has been refurbished 

This rear wheel is the result of colaboration between Brompton and Sturmey Archer - it's the wheel used on standard 3-speed Brompton folding bikes - it is still in used on the A Line and B75 though the Utility 3-speed model is now discontinued (since 2022)

This wheel is only available in silver
(the BWR - wide ratio, front wheel and single / two speed rear wheels are also available in black)

Please note: This is the BSR (Brompton standard ratio) wheel only - no sprockets

What’s in the pack?

In the package is the following:

  • Brompton standard ratio 3 speed Sturmey Archer rear wheel with new (introduced in 2013) double walled rim
  • Gear indicator chain
  • Rim tape
  • Chain tensioner / indicator nut
  • Wheel nuts

  • Valve hole: 8mm / Schrader
  • Hub colour: Silver
  • Spoke colour: Silver
  • Rim colour: Silver
  • Rim: 28H angle drilled holes

The Brompton sprocket stack is a separate item (not included) and can be found on the "related stuff" tab - this is because there is a choice of a 13T or 14T sprocket set as standard from Brompton. You may also wish to reuse your existing sprockets
