This is a BLACK Brompton front wheel with double wall rim.
The BLACK wheel is the same as the standard wheel but with SILVER spokes
The rim (not the braking surfaces) and the hub are black

Double wall rim version of the wheel - the same as the standard front wheel introduced by Brompton at the beginning of 2013 From 2025 this is also the wheel used on the C Line 16 inch Brompton Electric The rim is the straight drilled hole version (Q part code: QRIM-28-STD) The Brompton front wheel size is 16 x 1 3/8 - ISO/ETRTO 37-349 (although really that's the default tyre size - the wheel takes tyres with a diameter 349mm) The Brompton front wheel is radially laced - meaning that the spokes come out from the hub to the rim without criss-crossing any other spokes. This gives a nice clean look. Cone nuts: Outer locknut requires a 15mm cone wrench (or spanner) / inner requires a 14mm cone wrench The rim tape is yellow (previous to the 2013 and onwards model it was blue) |
