Brompton T line Tool Kit

The tool kit is just easy to put in the bike and forget about it until you need it (rather than finding you are stranded as you forgot to pack your tools for this ride!)

Like the original tool kit which came out over 10 years ago (in 2012) it has been a long awaited new tool - the frame mounted toolkit for the T line

The kit contains a collection of essential tools for your T line Brompton - we think it's a must have accessory!

It fits inside the bike frame for easy carrying and stays there so you won't forget it

It is not compatible with the following bikes

The T line tool kit needs to be fitted into the frame with the specific caddy that is provided with it, the toolkit includes instructions to fit, but as follows:

  1. Insert the caddy holder into the frame - with the cut out the hinge side 
  2. Insert the tool kit into the caddy holder making sure the spanner is the hinge side 

Every Brompton should have one of these! (In our opinion) - along with a front carrier block

The tool kit includes all the tools necessary for most road-side repairs in a compact, lightweight, sleek looking pack

Perhaps the most innovative features of the kit are the space-saving double-ended driver bits and the unique tyre levers (unique as the incorporate spanners within the tyre lever).

These levers make removing tyres substantially easier - compared to using your hands alone and also incorporate 8mm and 10mm spanners 

Brompton T Line tool kit contents:
  • Tyre lever x 2 - held together magnetically​
  • Ratchet handle for hex tools (reversible)​
  • Drivers snap into ratchet handles with spring clip​
  • Screwdrivers, Phillips and flat head​
  • Allen (Hex) keys, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 mm​
  • 8 mm spanner x 2​
  • 10 mm spanner​
  • 15 mm spanner with ratchet handle​
  • Bead blasted and anodised outer sleeve in a titanium grey colour​ to match bike
  • Spanner, Levers and Bits in a Black finish​
  • All held securely in a sturdy metal tube

Remember: tyre levers should be used as an aid when removing tyres - but not when fitting, for tyre installation you need technique, not brute force - to avoid damaging the tyre or inner tube - see below for how to fit a tyre with no lever and how to remove a tyre using the levers included in this tool kit
