Brompton chain pusher assembly 

This is the Brompton derailleur mechanism which pushes the chain tensioner wheels between the two rear sprockets on a two speed or six speed Brompton - it works in conjunction with the DR style chain tensioner (QCTADR)

Complete with wing plate 

Compatibility

The chain tensioner has not changed from the pre-2017 to the 2017 onwards integrated shifter derailleur - so is compatible with all year Bromptons (as long as it has the hexagonal braise on the rear triangle for connecting the wing plate)

It is used on the following Brompton models

  • A Line (if you are adding a derailleur - you would also need to replace the standard A Line wheel)
  • C Line 2-speed 
  • Brompton Electric 2-speed
  • C Line 6-speed
  • Brompton Electric 6-speed
  • Pre C Line 2-speed
  • Pre C-Line 6-speed

It is NOT compatible with Brompton folding bikes using the new advance rear frame:

  • P Line
  • P Line Electric
  • T Line
  • G Line
  • Brompton C Line Electric 4 speed
  • Brompton 

Note: there is a 'crack' in the wing plate to allow expansion of due to the paint on the Brompton frame
