Brompton double wall angle drilled wheel rim 28 hole

Introduced in 2013, this Brompton double wall wheel rim (size 16 x 1 3/8" or ETRTO 349) has 28 spoke holes which are drilled at an angle for extra strength. Note: For use on rear Brompton (Sturmey Archer or SRAM) hub gear wheels only.

Brompton 16 inch / ETRTO 349 bicycle wheel rim, double wall, angle drilled with 28 holes.

Rim ERD is 328

Brompton replacement wheel rim for rear hub geared wheels (Sturmey Archer and SRAM/Sachs) only.

Note: For use only with an internal-geared rear hub such as:
Brompton Sturmey Archer BSR (Standard ratio)
Brompton Sturmey Archer BWR (Wide ratio)
Sachs/SRAM 3/6 speed
Sturmey Archer sprinter
Sturmey Archer S-RF3 

Note (another one): If you are changing from a single wall rim to a double wall rim then you will require different spokes to your existing ones.

Valve hole is drilled to accept 8mm schrader / car type valves.

Now (as at Jan 2024) also known as the option 2 rim (Option 1 being the aero rim)
