What's a balance bike?
A balance bike is like the original velocipede / hobby horse / running machine, a two wheel vehicle powered by running, when when you have momentum you can sit on the saddle and coast
It's a great way for kids to learn to ride a bike - as it teaches them the balance and steering without having to worry about the added complexity of pedals

Looking for a purple Tadpole?
The Frog Tadpole used to be available in Purple, but that colour option was discontinued in 2017/2018
Construction:
The Frog Tadpole has a lightweight but sturdy aluminium alloy frame
It comes with an easy to grip Tektro rear brake with an adjustable lever for smaller hands, to allow moderation of speed as they start their downhill training and to learn how brakes work
It has a quick release seat-post for easy height adjustment as they grow / become more confident
As it seems with all of the kids bikes - the most popular (with the kids) feature is the bell - the Frog Tadpole comes with one as standard, so you can rest easy
Best suited to riders age 2-3 years with a minimum inside leg of 34cm (thats 13.38 inches according to Google for those preferring imperial measurements)
Free 5 year warranty available on the frame and forks, 2 years on all other parts
