BWR - Brompton Wide Ratio silver wheel - discontinued
The Brompton 6-speed setup - a combination of the 2-speed Brompton derailleur system and a 3-speed Sturmey Archer wide ratio internally geared hub (specifically designed for Brompton) has been around for over over 20 years
The wheel is now only available in black (rim and hub) with silver spokes (confirmed by Brompton support)
We have the last few remaining - after that anyone needing a new wheel will have one that probably doesn't match the front!
The hub was marked with BWR - for Brompton Wide Ratio and had a driver to take two sprockets (usually 13-tooth and 16-tooth)
The BWR wheel was originally only available in silver - with black versions being introduced with the limited BLACK edition bikes which proved so popular that Brompton switched to all (mostly) black components
The sprockets were Shimano Hyperglide 9-spline style - these are still available
