Brompton G Line Be Seen Light set

Introduced in 2024 along side the G Line

This is an alternative set of front and rear lights (introduced on the 16 inch Brompton in 2023) from Brompton to help you been seen on the road. These lights are USB rechargeable

Unlike the 16 inch Brompton version the front light attaches to the handlebars instead of the integrated brake / gear lever (the G Line doesn't have an integrated brake / gear levers)

Important note (as it says on the back of the box / packaging):

  • Fitting instructions included
  • These lights are for visibility only
  • Check local lighting laws before riding
  • Make sure to charge regularly

Brompton Be Seen lights specifications: 

  • Output:
    • Front - 26 lumens
    • Rear - 11 lumens.
  • Modes: High, Low, Flash, Pulse and Strobe
  • Run Time: High: 2 hours, Low: 5 hours, Flash: 10 hours (200ms/300ms), Pulse: 25 hours, Strobe:10 hours
  • Charge_Time: 1.5 hours to full
  • Weight: 63g for pair - including fixings
  • Water / IP Rating: IP65 (dust and water jet tight)
  • Charging by Micro USB, 5V 1A. Charging cable not included

What is in the box?

  • A 26 lumen front light (white)
  • An 11 Lumen rear light (red)
  • Handlebar mount and light mount and fixings 
  • Instructions on how to fit and use

Fitting instructions:

Front light:
  • The front light is mounted on the bracket which should be mounted to teh left side of the handlebar looking forward
  • Mount the bracket on the handlebar and do up the screw (M4)
  • The light bracket can now be fitted on the handlebar bracket using the two poi drive screws (PZ1), tighten firmly
  • To fix the light, place the light on the mount, with the power button lining up with the symbol on the mount, then turn the light clockwise until it locks in place

Tools required: 2.5mm Allen key / Pozi drive wrench 

Rear light: 
  • The rear light fits underneath the Brompton saddle (only the Brompton saddle!)
  • First install the mount into the saddle and insert the M5 button head screw and tighten
  • To fix the light, place the light on the mount, with the power button signing up with the symbol on the mount, then turn the light clockwise until it locks in place

Tools required: 3mm Allen key / hex wrench

Operating instructions: 

  • To turn on, press and hold the on/off switch
  • The switch between modes press the on/off switch 

Charging:

  • Lift the charge port cover and insert a USB charger
  • When charging the light to the left of the on/off button will light up red
  • When charged the light to the right of the power button will light up green
