Brompton Front brake cable (the set includes both the inner and outer)
This cable is for low (previously known as S-type - straight) handlebar Brompton folding bikes. If you are not sure which handlebar type you have - please check this guide to Brompton handlebar types
Note: This set is for UK / Moto specification bikes where the front brake lever is on the right hand as you sit on the bike

The packet contains the following parts:
- Front brake outer upper (332mm long)
- Front brake outer lower (455mm long)
- Brake cable inner (1050mm long)
- End cap
- Gaiter
- Warning diagram - showing which handlebar types / brake levers / wheelbase bikes it will fit
The front brake cable outer casing is in two parts, it joins at a cable gatherer (which holds other brake / gear cables tidily to keep the fold working well).
The shorter outer goes at the top (and is marked FU-S) and the longer at the bottom (and is marked FL-S)
The upper cable has a black outer cap on one end - this is the end which goes into the brake lever
The Lower cable has a silver coloured outer cap on one end - this is the end which goes into the front brake caliber
If you have an older 30 degree brake lever with an open clevis (identified easily with a double band holding the lever to the handlebars) then then this must be replaced as there is a chance the nipple could disengage when braking - meaning that next time you try and stop - you won't!
