Brompton P Line High 12-speed - Amethyst Lacquer with rack

The P Line - Performance Line range was introduced by Brompton with the 2022 lineup of bikes

The main benefit over the standard (or C Line) range of Brompton folding bikes is weight. Gearing wise it uses 4 derailleur gears combined with a 3 speed rear hub to give a 12 speed Brompton 

This amethyst lacquer finish is a new addition to the P Line range (introduced early 2025)

3. Handlebars

High rise with classic Brompton shape bars (previously known as the H type) for a more upright riding position (as is popular in The Netherlands / Scandinavian countries)

4 speed advance Brompton derailleur system - with the 3 speed hub gearing to give a 12 speed Brompton

5. Front luggage system

This Amethyst Lacquer P line comes with the front carrier block fitted 

6. Mudguards and Rack

This bike comes with black advance mudguards and a fitted roller rack frame is included 

7. Roller wheels

New advance roller wheels help keep the bike stable when folded 

8. Tyres / Wheels

Continental Contact Urban folding tyres (our favourites) - black / reflective
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 
16 inch (ETRTO size 349) wheels with double wall rim

  • 28 spokes  on the rear
  • 20 spokes on the front

The wheels have black hubs, black spokes and black rims (the braking surface is still silver)

Presta / racing type 6mm valve 

9. Saddle

Brompton superlight saddle, this superlight saddle features chromoly rails, a carbon reinforced base and lightweight padding, with the fixing point for the Cateye or Brompton Be Seen rear light 

10. Seat height

Standard seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement of up to 33 inches

If you are taller than(up to 35 inches inside leg measurement) we can change it at no extra cost to an extended length seatpost

For very tall riders a telescopic seatpost is available at extra cost 

Saddle height insert is included - we recommend you fit that after riding the bike for a while

11. Suspension

Along with the new P Line / advance rear end comes a new advance suspension block

12. Lighting / reflectors

Front and rear reflectors are included
It's easy to retrofit battery lighting such as the Brompton Spanning solo rear light or Brompton CatEye 500lm light or Brompton Be Seen Lights

Please note that the specifications of the wheels has changed from the video and now they have the C Line rims with the new P Line spokes and hubs
