The Schwalbe Kojak with wired tyre bead is one of two replacements for the Schwalbe Stelvio tyre which was discontinued by Schwalbe in 2009.

The Schwalbe Kojak tyre for your Brompton / Mezzo (or other 16" wheel bicycle) is maintained at even higher pressures than other Brompton tyres, these lightweight slicks are the fastest in the Brompton range from Schwalbe.

Their slightly smaller diameter means that gearing is lowered by 2.5% and the narrower tyre width also makes them unsuitable for use with tyre-driven dynamo lighting.

They do not come with a reflective sidewall, so reflectors need to be fitted to the wheels.

ETRTO size: 32-349 (16" x 1 1/4")

Weight: 230g

Pressure: 70-115 PSI

About Schwalbe :

SCHWALBE, with world headquarters in Reichshof-Wehnrath, Germany, is the foremost bicycle tyre company in Western Europe.

1911 - With a business partner, Ernst-Wilhelm Bohle sets up the bicycle manufacturer Phillips. It is the coronation year of George V. The German emperors arrive for a fifteen-day state visit in Great Britain.

1983 - Bohle creates a legend: The Schwalbe “Marathon”, Germany’s first long lasting tire with high quality puncture resistance.

2000 The Schwalbe "Marathon" becomes the benchmark by which other tires are measured. As globetrotters like Wolfgang Reiche, who crossed five continents by bike in four years, trusts in the reliability of the long runner. Today this classic from the Schwalbe range is the most-sold Touring and Trekking tire in the world.
