Unless you were on a remote island you can't have missed all those Olympic and Paralympic GB medals in the cycling, and the performances in the Tour de France by Mark Cavendish - that must inspire something within you.

It doesn't mean you have to race at elite level (though is there any reason not to?) - why not just take your bike next time you go to the post office?

But maybe you need to do something, to make your bike better for that ride, repairing something or adding lights to keep you safer now that the days are getting shorter, for example?
