Standard Brompton 16 x 1 3/8 " tyre for folding bikes - made by Brompton now with a reflective sidewall to help you be seen in the dark.

From 2010 this has been replaced by the Brompton Kevlar tyre, which is now the standard tyre fitted to all new Brompton folding bicycles.

The ETRTO size for this tyre is 37-349 (that is 16 x 1 3/8 inch in imperial measurement)

Inner tubes:
Brompton own brand inner tube
Schwalbe Av4 inner tube 

This tyre can be inflated to 100 PSI / 6.8 bar max.

Reflective side wall on the tyre will help improve your visibility to other traffic.

Please note:Also available is the Brompton Kevlar tyre which has more puncture protection built in.

The Brompton own brand tyres can be identified by the label on the side of the tyre:
Green = Kevlar tyre
Yellow = Standard tyre

This tyre is made in Taiwan.
